Q3. “How do I use multiple devices with my Live Voice Guidance account?”
A3. After you've created a MotionX ID account by providing an email address and password on one device, simply sign-in to the account on your other devices. If you upgrade to a new iPhone or iPad, go to Settings>MotionX ID to delete the old device. Once MotionX-GPS Drive or Drive HD is installed on the new device, simply sign in and your Live Voice Guidance will be available.
Q4. “If I purchased an optional package before utilizing the included package, can I still use the included package?”
A4. Yes, the included package and the optional paid packages can be stacked up. For example, if you have one day left in your included package and purchase a 30-day package, you will have 31 days of Live Voice Guidance available to you.
Q5. “Why is there a fee for Live Voice Guidance?”
A5. We must pay the suppliers of data, and therefore must charge a minimum fee. We at MotionX are committed to passing on the best possible pricing to you.
Q6. “What do I get when I purchase a Live Voice Guidance package?”

You'll be able to use our Live Voice Guidance and automatic rerouting. Live Voice Guidance mode detects your current position and automatically gives you voice commands as you approach the next maneuver in your route. If your path diverges from the original route, MotionX-GPS Drive will detect this and calculate an updated route from your current position.
Q7. "Will I lose any of my purchased time if I don't start using it right away? Can my time run out while I'm not running MotionX-GPS Drive?"
A7. The expiration date of your guidance package is set when you press the "buy now" button on the package details page, and is not based on how long the application is open. You can find the expiration date and time at the top of the Settings page, accessible from the gear button in the lower right hand area of the application.
Q8. “What if I run out of time in the middle of my trip, or answer an incoming phone call?”
A8. Your navigation will be suspended and resumed without penalty, since you started the route before your guidance package expired. Keep in mind, however, that if you close MotionX-GPS Drive after your package expires (e.g. to place a call rather than answering an incoming one), you will need to purchase another guidance package to proceed with Live Voice Guidance.
Q9. "What can I do with the app if I don't buy a package?"
A9. MotionX-GPS Drive is a fully functional standalone solution without the purchase of an optional Live Voice Guidance package, which means that you can search for destinations, get driving or walking directions, and use all other features with the exception of automatic Live Voice Guidance prompts and automatic rerouting.
Q10. "Is there any way to transfer the package to another iPhone?"
A10. Yes, certainly. Using the phone backup and restore feature in iTunes may be enough to set this up if you backed up your device after purchasing the package, but depending on your devices there are a few approaches to this. See the section Troubleshooting and Additional Help for tips.
Q11. “If my spouse and I purchased Live Voice Guidance packages from separate devices, can we combine the remainder of our Live Voice Guidance packages into one MotionX account?”
A11. Yes, it's all automatic. Create an account from one device, then sign-in to the same account from the other device. Your existing package expirations from each device will be merged together into one new expiration which is the sum of both device expirations.
Q12. "Do the Live Voice Guidance packages renew automatically?"
A12. No, you will never be charged for automatic renewal. You can add additional packages on an as-needed basis.
Q13. "If I were to buy (for example) 365 days, but I already bought 30 days previously, how long would my package actually last?"
A13. 365 days would be added to the remaining days in your previously purchased package. You would not lose any days that you already paid for.
